Novel written from the point of view of a horse wins major literary award
Our Horses in Egypt by Rosalind Belben has won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for fiction.
The James Tait Black Memorial Prize is the UK's oldest literary prize and Scotland's most prestigious prize. Novelists who have won it in the past include D.H. Lawrence, E.M. Forster and Graham Greene.
